Senior rugby league

Our Senior Program goal is to continue developing young men ready to take the next step in their footballing careers, whilst also catering for those that just want to enjoy the game and be around their mates.

What better way to sum up our club’s Senior Rugby League Program than with our ethos, FAMILY MATTERS! The Family Matters! Belief is that no matter your skill level or aspirations for progression, anything is possible at Waterford RLFC. Our Senior Program boasts teams that cater for all walks of football life, from our BRL Reserve Grade program to Open 2, and now in 2018 the club will introduce an Under 21 team that will enable our club to continue developing players for the future of Rugby League. As well as these Senior competition teams, the club will continue its Masters program, meaning that at Waterford RLFC, we offer something for players for any age and all walks of life.

Our Master’s Program (35 years and Over), have shown the clubs dominance by completing a hat-trick of Pan-Pac Tournaments (2012, 2014, 2016). Our second season in Premier Grade saw the team finish 5th, and our Open 3 team were Grandfinalists, narrowly going down to Jimboomba in a classic encounter. The club also boasted two players finishing as runners-up for Brisbane Second Division Players of the Year (Premier Grade and Open 3).

It has been the club’s successes both on-field and off-field that have enabled maturing Rugby League players to progress to the next stage of Rugby League through the development and endorsement of the entire Waterford RLFC Team Staff, Club Administrators and Volunteers.
